Childhood malnutrition remains a significant global public health concern, and despite numerous advances improvements in child care; acute among children still one of the main challenges 21st century, particularly developing countries is associated with high risk morbidity mortality. Children are most vulnerable group to effects during period their rapid physical growth development, because extra nutritional requirements for development at this time. Acute results from complex interplay range distal proximal factors. This review article gives comprehensive background on causes under five years age.
